The Top 5 Applications for the iOS 5

After a lot of speculation, Apple has finally launched the iOS 5 for the iPhone, iTouch and iPad devices. Along with the new OS, Apple has launched a couple of new applications as well. We at DigiMouth bring you what we feel are the Top 5 applications that come with the new iOS 5.

#1 iMessage:

Move over BlackBerry Messenger, iMessage is here. With this application, users can chat, share photos, videos and even locations via Wifi or 3G. To make it more accessible, iMessage is integrated in the Messages option.

Another impressive feature on this app is the synchronization of devices. Users will be able to continue conversations from different devices. For users who own multiple Apple devices like the iPhone and the iPad, this feature will be a blessing in disguise.

#2 Notification Center:

This handy upgrade lets users keep a tab on the notifications you get without disrupting your current activity. The option lets you customize the type of notifications you want to see like text messages, emails etc.

Whenever users are pinged, a notification tab appears on the top of the screen for a few seconds. Users can click on the notification to open it or swipe down from the top of the screen to see the notifications menu.
