Sushant Ajnikar What do you do for a living? And why?
I am a Visualiser in an online digital agency called Quasar Media. Have always been interested in designing, so learnt a few applications, won some prizes and here I am today, enjoying my work by racking my brains most of the time and coming with some innovative ideas which hardly get executed.
What is the first thing you do when you enter the office?
I shout to everyone “WASSUP PEOPLE, morning”, in return I get some grunts and some good mornings but mostly grunt or some hmms. Then I switch on my computer preparing for the day.
What are you currently working on?
I currently am working on our company website for the last 3 months I guess, must have presented atleast 10 different concepts. Appreciated by all but no go ahead for execution, managers I tell you hehehhe. Other than that I work on in.com, kingfisher, some pitches here and there, Chevrolet etc.
One of your most cherished project / achievement …
I was in charge of a project for Radio Mirchi, called Visual Radio. It was launched for the first time in India and nobody had any clue how to go about. I managed to do all the R & D, hired a team of artistes, trained them, installed processes, fine tuned them. I have never worked so hard in my life, days and nights put together but had so much fun with my team as they co-operated beautifully. Well in the end let me just say that our creatives were rated as the best in the world as compared to Singapore, Spain and US. The most cherished moments in my life.
Name an office incident that still irks you?
hmm either I have not come across such an incident yet or maybe I am a bit forgetful.
Name the organisation that you have yearning to join
O & M or Leo Burnett.
What is the one thing you would like to change about your current job?
Add more space to my desk.
What is playing on your media player, right now?
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I see myself in a big ad agency, known for my concepts and my weird sense of humor, driving a Porsche 911 turbo, no not in Mumbai fellas.
