Admart.Asia tries summing up Asia on a single domain

Looking for an online directory that offers information about Asian communities? Or simply want to advertise your new company or venture? Admart.Asia does it all. Right from accommodation, night life, dining and entertainment services to sale, community notices, public events, employment opportunities, real estate etc. Admart.Asia has a lot of information on varied topics surrounding Asia.

An initiative by Honk-Kong based Wayan Chan and her fellow students and supported by employees across Asia, this portal is gaining popularity as an excellent medium for exchange of information.

Their adaptable policy accommodates any content provided that it is not offensive.

Neat concept! Admart Asia also covers Australia and New Zealand, which make me wonder if those countries are part of Asia? Its good to see a local initiative like this. I just hope the website stays nice and simple and does not get full of crap content.

Admart.Asia is owned by Wayan Chan, but note that she is a women. Its Miss Chan, and not “Mr Chan” as you reported in your article.

Yes – it is a cool site and smart idea but for now its only in English, so whilst it covers classifieds and all countries in Asia, you need to speak English to use it.

This is Wayan Chan, one of the founders of Admart.Asia.

I have spent the last week reviewing various press comments about our company (found doing a Google search), and going forward hope to respond and contribute from time to time to select postings related to the Admart website.

We have been very busy over the last few months, working on a new addition to Admart.Asia, called WeChat. WeChat, is basically a free chat forum function, intended to be used by people in the Asian region to discuss whatever topic they wish. So far we have around 45 key topics set up, and we are adding more upon request. WeChat is still in test mode, but we are already running live with it, so feel free to drop by, test it, and leave your comments and suggestions.

We also have a local language section, catering for people who would like to chat in Bahasa, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese. We will issue a formal press release once we are out of test-mode.
