Sabeer Bhatia’s foray into the social networking scenario with ApnaCircle.com seems to have paid off. Co-founded with Yogesh Bansal, the Indian business social network on the lines of LinkedIn.com has been acquired by France-based professional networking site Viadeo.

apna_circle_logoApparently ApnaCircle.com has 350,000 members from all over India which will add up to the 6.5 million strong Viadeo network.

This is a great move for Viadeo in terms of their expansion plans beyond Europe.
