Virgin Mobile  is running a banner campaign to promote its new microsite SMS123. The newly launched microsite promotes its latest offer wherein subscribers will be charged for the first three local SMSes of the day but the next 100 after them would be completely free.

The Rs 1,500 crore VAS market in India has a new twist. Mobile2Win (M2W) has merged with voice and web-based value-added services (VAS) provider Altruist Group. Apparently the merger makes the entity India’s fourth-largest VAS player in terms of revenues.
