Its time to applaud the efforts of some of the best in the digital media. WAN-IFRA will now launch the Asian Digital Media Awards, the first of its kind, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. WAN-IFRA is the association of newspapers and news publishers of the world representing about 18,000 publications in five continents.

The Indian Digital Media Awards winners have just been announced. The prestigious awards courtesy Exchange4media recognize, encourage and celebrate the best in the fast-growing digital space, especially gaming, Internet, mobile, and social media’.

One Show is a coveted award amongst the advertising fraternity. And the same extends to the Indian Interactive agencies. This year G2 (the interactive arm of Grey Worldwide) and Leo Burnett, Mumbai have been listed as finalists for the 2009 One Show Interactive awards.

Brand Equity Ad Agency Reckoner is an annual survey conducted which lists the best of the advertising circle. This year the Reckoner listed the top 25 agencies, media houses, creative directors, influential personalities and more. But the striking fact is the Brand Equity Ad Agency Reckoner 2008 listing of ‘Digital Specialist Agencies’.

It surely is a proud moment for the Indian online industry as some of the best companies have won the coveted Red Herring 100 Asia 2008.
