India’s favourite rock related reality show is back with a bang, and this time it’s even louder than before! This third edition of Launchpad has music composer and legendary rocker, Vishal Dadlani of Pentagram as a permanent judge on the show. To make it more interesting, this time around, language is not a barrier.

But the high point of all this is, that Channel V has partnered with BigAdda.com, the Reliance ADAG social networking website, to promote the show. In fact, registration for all the bands as well as uploading of sample music has to be done on BigAdda.com itself. Bands will need to log on to http://v.bigadda.com/ to register.

Taking the Indian music scenario into consideration, independent Indian rock acts do not have a channel to express their talent. After the success of the Bollywood movie ‘Rock On’, rock music is being given more attention than ever before.

The tie up between the two conglomerates is only going to make the whole movement bigger, thus providing the public with more exposure to the genre. This is a win-win situation for the bands, as well as the public.
