For years the short messaging service (SMS) has been used by mindless teenagers, publicity hungry brands and reality shows producers for all the wrong reasons. Finally the service finds its “true calling” in the Catholic Secular Forum and the Indian Christian Activists Network. The schisms got together one fine day and decided that they would start a free SMS service to give its subscribers religious messages, news and quotes from the Bible. And boy, does it work!
The main purpose of this network is to be able to reach out to smaller Christian groups that have been deemed vulnerable. So far, over 5000 people across the country have signed up for this service. Incorporating a special short-code, not unlike the ones used during TV voting, subscribers of this service can also send information and requests for help by typing the word ‘Trinity’ along with a number.  The short-code number is being advertised in community websites, as well as journals.

This is a great service for members of the Christian community, as many have complained in the past, that religious news reaches them very late at times. The short-code number is a very simple one, and the word Trinity is something that almost no Christian will forget. Thus, this is a great service being offered to members of this faith.

The Trinity service will definitely come of great use in plenty of situations. For instance, one can reach out for help if they are in trouble, and the police fail to be of assistance. It will be detrimental to the safekeeping of human rights as well, as it can also be used to prevent a number of sex related crimes.
