There surely seems a bigger and brighter future for Indian online advertising. And with the advent of Digitas in India it surely seems like the mushrooming online industry is just waiting for the bang. Digitas is the digital marketing agency of Publicis Group which has presence in France, UK, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and South East Asia.

This March Publicis tied up with Solutions, an integrated marketing agency, to form Solutions Digitas.

The new Digitas office headed by Saroja Kannan will be located in Chennai. Saroja Kannan, the earlier head of Ogilvy One in the south, brings her 17 years of experience to the post. Digitas India will offer CRM and online marketing services. Other than servicing Indian and global clients Digitas will be focusing on the South Indian markets.
