Finally here is a well-deserved website for distressed pet owners hunting for the right match for their pure-bred dogs. The owners have categorised DateYourPet.co.in as a matrimonial website but it surely stands out as a mating and dating website for our canine counterparts.
I was really confused with the dating feature wherein owners could help their pets find dates in case they need more loving. Well, I would be really interested in eavesdropping into one of those dates. On the other hand DateYourPet.co.in surely has many other interesting features for the canine-kind. For example registered owners have the freedom to find eligible people for adoption of their puppies. The website offers loads of fresh content on varied dog-related topics. Plus it acts as a social network for pet owners to interact and find a suitable ‘alliance’. Pet owners simply need to register and upload the details to avail of the service.
Though I ponder over the monetization strategy I give full marks to the idea and execution. But the website is weak in terms of its design. The website should be more vibrant with broader categories.
Other than Mekhala and Stanley the backend team consists of a dog-trainer, a veterinarian and a veterinary gynaecologist who even plays ‘agony-aunt’ to pet owners. It is really great to see such a venture wherein our four-legged friends get to hook-up with their species via the Internet… just like many of us!
