After NBC, ABC and CBS, it was finally Fox’s turn!
The broadcasting channel followed suit and gave Google TV the cold shoulder. The company that is owned by News Corp was the final broadcasting networks to shake its head regarding airing of shows or episodes on the search engine giant’s new software.
The executives of the company state, evaluation and reviewing of the software platform as reason for their delay in rejection. Fox believes Google TV is still a long way from increasing user base in order to get into a deal with the channel.
Google’s Product Manager, Rishi Chandra believes there would be negotiations with these broadcasting channels had Google paid for licensing. Would Google do what Microsoft did to people to ensure videos ran on their browser? Presently it does not seem likely.
It does not appear to me that Google TV has a way out of this mess. Let time decide.
