Google has successfully tested the service on a few partners. Google attempts at promoting mobile applications through this service and creating a competitive space. Google’s venture seems profitable with the mobile advertising market expected to boom to $5.7 billion by 2014 (according to a Jupiter Research report).

But the service will not revolutionise the mobile advertising space as mobile applications are yet in their mushrooming stage with an average amount of avid users.
