Google India is facing defamation charges that too from the Indian firm, Gremach Infrastructure Equipment & Projects. The Mumbai based firm is dragging Google India into a lawsuit as Google hosted articles protesting Gremach’s mines in the Mozambique under the username ‘Toxic Writer’.

According to Gremach the articles have led to a hate campaign against the company. They suspecting it to be the work of a rival and reported the incident to the Mumbai cyber crime division. But the Mumbai police are helpless as Google India refused to co-operate with the investigation. The Bombay High Court has ordered Google India to share the details of the blogger.

Gremach acquired 75% stake in 11 coal mines last year.
