The IFIM Business School in Bangalore is organising a competition for budding as well as established entrepreneurs. As part of the National Entrepreneurship Week scheduled from 9th – 14th February 2009 the business school is inviting entrepreneurs to send their business plans and participate in the contest. The contest is part of Ethon 2009 organised by the Center for Entrepreneurship which is the primary locus at the B-School for the study and promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation in management and new enterprise development.
Ethon 2009 is a meeting and sharing ground for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, prospective entrepreneurs, students and industry colleagues with “entrepreneurship” as the connecting theme. Through this effort the IFIM Business School aims at building an entrepreneurial community and create a whole new ecosystem. The highlight of the entire activity is the cash prize worth Rs. 100000 plus the final five will be mentored by Morpheus Venture Partners while one lucky team would be part of their Mentoring Programme which starts in April 2009.
This year Morpheus Venture Partners made headlines with the announcement of its second batch of 7 Indian start-ups. The business advisory firm focusing on early stage start-ups is currently mentoring
the 7 companies while sourcing seed/angel investing options for them.
The last date to submit your business plan is 30th December 2008. Click here to know more about Ethon 2009 and the contest.
