While the soaring Fahrenheit stresses out the minds of various environmentalists, the technology makers of today also face the brunt of the current situation. This pressure has forced the technology manufacturers to ideate and come up with latest innovations and gadgets. One such central location for all innovators to come together and flaunt their latest products and devices is the International Consumer Electronic Show (CES).ces-logo

Considered as the Mecca for avid technology lovers, this year’s International CES set off on a positive note from January 7th to 10th 2010. Like every other year, there was a presentation of an array of gadgets, devices, utility items, cutting edge technology items and lots more.

The plethora of technologically advanced items also witnessed the star-studded feel with celebrity visits such as Taylor Swift, Dr. Dre, Lady Gaga, Drew Carey, Tommy Lee, P.Diddy, Joba Chamberlain, Prince Fielder, author James Patterson, Bette Midler and CBS Sportscaster James Brown.

Out of the plethora of techy gizmos, there were a few of them that have emerged as the special highlights of this year’s show. Here’s zooming on to a few special arrivals that made it to the International CES 2010.

Parrot AR Drone:

After all the attention and spotlight that the iPhone received, here’s another gadget that tags along the popularity of Apple and brings in their cool accessory called Parrot AR Drone. This device has featured on many news terrains during this year’s CES. Parrot has brought in this gadget that works on Wi-Fi and streams videos utilising two cameras. So if you ever wished to be a spy, this is one gadget you are supposed to look out for. The launch date and pricing information still seems blurry, however there is a claim that this product will arrive in the markets by this year anytime.

SHOWWX projectors:

While every application and utility item is going mobile, here is another gadget that chooses to support the Mobile phone use. Mobility and convenience is what this Microvision’s device promises to offer. The SHOWWX projectors smartly use the laser technology to display high-quality wide-screen image with the input sources such as mobile phones, computer or media player. The projector is expected to attach a price tag of around $500 and it will arrive in the technology markets very soon this year.

Dlink Boxee Box:

Again one of the most talked-about gadgets of this year’s International CES, the Boxee Box from Dlink will take the Television experiences to an all new level. To make the couch potato’s haven all the more luxurious and technologically advanced, this device streams the relevant content from Web to a TV without any requirement of a PC. Even this gadget may arrive only later this year and it will be priced at around $200.

Along with these gadgets and gizmos, the International CES also presented various mobile DTVs, netbooks, eReaders, tablets and uber-cool advancements in 3D technology. The other most-talked about technologies and gadgets were Lenovo’s IdeaPad U1 Hybrid, Android OS, Project Natal from Microsoft and 4G network presented by Sprint.

Various manufacturers have brought in new innovations and made our life more convenient and comfortable. The International CES has sure proved to be a great platform for these manufacturers to flaunt their latest inventions and products. We just hope that these innovations arrive in the market soon enough.
