The sports brand has rolled out a completely new and interesting iPhone application for runners with a downloadable link already available.

All you runners are in for a treat. Currently priced at $ 1.99; the GPS +Nike app can rope in accurate data from an accelerometer by its own device. The GPS will prove to be a total prep up tool for runners by stimulating their ability to run and maintaining constant motivation.

Now we know there are ample amount of fitness apps available at the iPhone store. But, hello! This is Nike, we’re talking about.

Even if individuals face problems with the GPS signals and transmissions, the app will not be interrupted, states Nike.

The entire breakdown of your run will be accounted for – pace variation, distance covered, calories burned etc.

Now here comes the interesting part. The ‘Challenge Me’ feature of the app acts as a dare to runners themselves at achieving greater heights and breaking barriers in their previous running stints. This includes timely motivating messages from professional athletes and known celebs.
