In.com has been the buzz of the town. With a growing user base and massive advertising campaign In.com has gained instant popularity. But the best part is that In.com is even creating and hosting websites for their clients. And Lee Cooper’s new microsite is proof of the same. Christened LcClan.in.com the microsite is an extension to the latest print campaign. Lee Cooper attempts to create a community of like minded individuals by promoting their tagline “discrimination by design”.

The design is vibrant backed with an eerie background score. You acces the website once you have registered which is a great move in terms of database creation. But to register you need to answer 4 questions pertaining to the brand. Once you are done with the test you are asked to fill in a form with the required details. At the ned you are all set to access the website. But the funniest part is that you got to take an oath (which you can actually skip) before you can really access the content. There is even a Clan Commandment (on the lines of the 10 commandments) which explains the basic rules to be part of the Lee Cooper clan.

Lets dissect LcClan.in.com in detail…(I will run you through the varied sections)

Clan Music:
This is your regular music player that is powered by In.com. Other than the regular U2 and GNR tracks I was amazed to see Delhi rock band Prestorika’s song listed on the player.

Clan Contest:
Here’s your chance to win some cool Lee Cooper Clan merchandise. All you have to do is upload a photograph of yours that spells style and explain “what style means to you?” The best part is that the Clan Contest would be extended into varied other mediums. The winner will get a chance to design the next Lee Cooper. Now that’s something to look out for!

Clan Closet:
This section has images of the latest product offering from Lee Cooper. Apparently the Clan believes that you must be dressed in the best of Lee Cooper outfits to survive in the clan. The product shots are from the latest collection.

Clan Downloads:
It has a few wallpapers featuring models decked-up in the latest Lee Cooper garments.

Clan Heritage:
This section name is self explanatory. It features the brands evolution since its inception in 1908.

Clan Members:
It is a page dedicated to the registered members. It’s surprising as they already have over 1000 members.

Overall the website surely scores brownie points for its design and execution. But it really lacks in substance and stickiness.
