French electrical installations and information network company Legrand launched a website titled IdeasThatClick.in. The big behind the website is summed in two words “smart living”. And Legrand is pressing on the smart living concept to connect with the consumers.

IdeasThatClick.in acts as a platform that lets users share ideas and express their thoughts. This is the first online Legrand_logomarketing stint for Legrand, and as per the Afaqs.com article, the month old website has 50,000 unique visitors and 3,000 members.

The site is basic and based on user-generated content (UGC). IdeasThatClick.in is designed by RMG Connect (JWT’s interactive and direct marketing wing) and is being promoted through banner and SEM campaign. In fact Legrand plans on extending the concept to offline activities in turn directly reaching out to the consumer.

It’s great to see brands like Legrand pushing the bar with such online innovations.
