LG is all set to introduce its Smart TV featuring Google‘s Android OS at the International CES 2012. The latest offering from LG is set to have Smart TV and 3D TV technology in a single device, thus offering a unique and innovative home entertainment option to the consumers.
For those in late; International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is an event held every year in Las Vegas and an exhibition that showcases the finest electronic devices from various manufacturers across the globe. Most of the biggest brands look forward to demonstrate their new and upcoming devices at the CES. So, be it is a cell phone, tablet, television set or any other electronic gadget, International CES offers companies a lucrative platform to launch their forthcoming products.
According to LG, Google TV is designed for ease of use. It features the perfect combination of Magic Remote Qwerty, specially designed by LG along with a simplified Android-based user interface. Besides multi-tasking capabilities, the main screen and user interface offers convenient browsing and ease of content selection. To access the UI, you can either use a QWERTY keyboard or LG Magic Remote (Magic Remote Qwerty) offered by LG.
LG’s Android OS based Smart TV also features CINEMA 3D technology with FPR (Film Patterned Retarder) technology. This will allow consumers to experience 3D content using LG’s lightweight, comfortable and battery-free glasses.
