loop_mobile_logoLoops Rolls out Services in Tamil Nadu & Orissa

In the start of this week Loop Telecom (earlier BPL Mobile) announced their cellular services in Tamil Nadu and Orissa. Both the states will witness the soft launch of the network which would be extended to Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka.

This move makes Loop Mobile the first network to launch operations amongst the new entrants. Plus the network has escaped the penalty from the Department of Telecom (DoT) which would be issued if it failed commencing services within the stipulated 52 weeks since allocation of spectrum.

Following suit are S-Tel, Swan Telecom (Dynamix balwas Group) and Datacom Solutions (Videocon Group) that are geared up for the launch. The launch in both the states is a test run.
