Meebo is all geared up to launch its Community IM later this year. The Meebo Community IM will let other websites add their instant messaging and chat services. The highlight is that users can access both, the host site and Meebo.com for the services. Meebo.com is known to be offering IM services to AIM, Yahoo, and MSN. The new Community IM will have more partners like Tagged, Nickelodeon, PerfSport and more who will benefit from revenue sharing of the advertisement placed within the IM and chatrooms.

At present with 7.6 percent of global Internet users this surely seems like a positive move by Meebo.com.  Normally users need to log into a particular website to access the IM or even download the client. In Meebo’s case the user is not isolated one a particular page or IM services. The user can enjoy wide array of chat clients and rooms. This move will even help enhance the Meebo.com user base and tap into unique users.
