Today, almost every individual owns an account on www.gmail.com. Although Gmail proves to be one of the most reliable email accounts available, its developer, Google plans to enroll some additional new features.
The Gmail Inbox design will be effectively altered and users can also have a go at a trial, as per announcements by Google today. A set of new themes that have been redesigned will include elements such as shape and size of the ‘Compose’ button, ‘Search‘ button and other controls for navigation. Google has released two brand new themes namely Preview and Preview (Dense).
The Compose button will now appear larger, sharper and red in colour as opposed to the old grey one. Currently, grey, red and white colour will remain for both preview themes although Google vows to introduce more colours gradually.
Google stated in a blog that
“ this is part of a Google-wide effort to bring you an experience that’s more focused, elastic, and effortless across all of our products.”
The search engine giant aims at a much more tidy and slicker design for Gmail service. These new features will be compatible with different screen sizes which means lappies, tablets and smartphones will witness the treat.
