And that is exactly what NDTV Convergence is doing with their new website NoGyan.com. The website is aimed at offering news, views and analysis of unusual happenings in various areas.
This site targeted at the youth will allow users to blog, upload videos and access varied other interactive platforms. Other than the in-house content team NoGyan.com will be sourcing its content from Associated Press, Agence France-Presse and Indo Asian News Service. Ditching conventional advertising mediums NoGyan.com will promote itself through Orkut, Yahoo Groups and Facebook applications.
NoGyan.com aims at generating revenue through banner ads and video ads on the website. The website will be accessible to users in the next two months.
