Virgin Mobile entered the Indian market with an exceptional advertising campaign. And it continues to do the same in its online versions. Currently Virgin Mobile is harping on the video facility on its latest vKewl phone and has created a microsite-cum-video sharing platform.
Virgin propagates that “a lot can happen with a vKewl in your hand” and thus urges everyone to “catch your pals in the craziest & funniest of situations” and upload it on their section called Shoot at Sight.
The microsite (or should I call it that) is designed for video sharing and is cleverly segregated in varied
sections . You can tag your video with similar content in the ‘Start a War’ section, while the ‘Trik Bazi’ section offers tip-and-tricks to master your video shooting skills. And in case you have nothing better to do visit the ‘vKewl Bioscope’ section to view all the videos listed.
Whilst all the other fun sections Virgin manages to elaborate on its product and offer with sections titled ‘vKewl Gyan’ and ‘vKewl Offer’ respectively. Irony lies in the fact that there is no mention of Shoot at Sight on the official website that is designed by BC Webwise.
Shoot at Sight currently has 16 videos and should grow with the advertising campaigns. Inform us in case you share any videos.
