The logo and branding of PlanetRadioCity.com is completely different from the radio entity. The social networking website is designed to increase interaction with listeners. Other than creating profiles and networking PlanetRadioCity.com will let users interact with their RJs. The website even aims at promoting independent artists and they have around 29 bands and 32 solo singers who are part of the same.
Though ads would be the primary revenue generator the team is looking for other options. The FM radio
station launched the social networking site targeting music aficionados. The PlanetRadioCity team is even going to advertise on social networking sites through social media marketing and search marketing. They will be issuing regular banner ads on major portals too.
The website is not only aimed at Indian’s as it has 40% of international content while the remaining is Indian.
