The ADAG owned Reliance Communications Ltd, launched its nationwide GSM mobile telephone services in the country. Spanning across 11,000 towns and 340,000 villages the service has been launched with a capital investment of Rs 10,000 crore. Apparently the project was completed six months back but launched today.

The CDMA major with a 60 million subscriber base aims at offering the GSM service to over 1 billion users. With new age technology the GSM service will be offering super digital voice clarity and extensive coverage with the help of dedicated towers.
