It looks like Bollywood has awakened to the infinite possibilities of the Internet. After Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan taking to blogging its time King Khan enters the ring. But Shahrukh Khan defies the beaten path (I meant blogging) by joining popular micro-blogging community Twitter.

In fact the latest tweet reads “To all my well-wishers about my shoulder, many THANKS! I am waiting till after Billu’s release. Peace & Love”. Currently there are around 745 followers.

But the questions that arise are:
Is it really Shahrukh or some outsourced ghost writer?
Why Twitter suddenly?
Will he sustain the same?
Is it a stint to promote Red Chillies?

Even Sanjay Dutt and Frahan Akhtar have joined the badwagon with regular tweets. At this rate it looks like Bollywood is surely take the best of the online experience and harness its power to promote crappy masala movies. God save the audience!
