Finally iPhone users can boast about VOIP with the addition of Skype. Yes! The VIOP client will be available for Iphone users with 3G connections. But there is a catch! The VOIP service would not run unless users have access toa  Wifi network.  Skype’s shift from Nokia to iPhone surely seems like a well-planned move.

But Indian iPhone owners would not benefit from the move; thanks to TRAI and its snail-like-speed in implementing 3G in India. Plus the infrastructure for VOIP services is in India is not up to the mark.
