Tata Motors finds the Internet as a perfect medium to showcase its latest offering – the brand new Indica Vista. ChangesEverything.in is an eye-pleasing website showcasing the new Tata Indica Vista, but with a twist.
DraftFCB Ulka in collaboration with Phonethics (who created the story and characters) has developed an interactive novel with two central characters Anand Sharma and Leela Banerjee to promulgate the car. ChangesEverything.in is targeted at young executives but refrains from a typical content driven website to showcase the new Tata Indica Vista.
The interactive approach taken by DraftFCB Ulka and Phonethics is a refreshing change. The interactive novel is divided into 4 episodes wherein Anand Sharma and Leela Banerjee share their urban problems only to realise the solution lies in purchasing a Tata Indica Vista. The 4th episode ends with Rahul and Leela falling in love after they take a test drive in the Tata Indica Vista.
But there is more to the website as users will now get a chance to take the story ahead. The creative agencies will shortly be releasing a Facebook application that would let users create their own ending to the novel and script the 5th episode. The winning story gets published backed with a few goodies. This surely makes the entire experience interactive.
In the end Tata Motors, DraftFCB Ulka and Phonethics get full marks for ChangesEverything.in. But we at Digi Mouth are eagerly awaiting the 5th episode; let’s see how creative Indian users are!
