Durex never ceases to surprise us! Yet again they have devised a strategy, although very unlikely, that pushes the youth of today to use condoms.

Durex_logoHowever, this time, the condom manufacturer takes on a different route to support this cause. Their Facebook application Bunny Blues include rabbits randomly popping up in the application. Users are supposed to change the color of these rabbits to blue by simple clicks. But it doesn’t end there.

Here lies the catch! For every 10 bunnies clicked on, Durex promises to donate 1 condom to NGO’s that will thereby distribute it among the youth. Just by a fun-filled application of this sort, Durex has managed to contribute 8,951 condoms since the 1st of December this year. Durex aims at donating 50,000 condofacebook-icon2ms to NGO’s by the end of this month.

This brilliant method of Durex, serves as a dual purpose. At one end, the users actively engage in donating condoms and at the other, the concept of safe sex is spread to a large mass.

We can either keep our fingers crossed hoping the humorous and fun-filled application hits the bulls-eye, or we could all lend a helping hand and go blue!
