The Indian Digital Media Awards winners have just been announced. The prestigious awards courtesy Exchange4media recognize, encourage and celebrate the best in the fast-growing digital space, especially gaming, Internet, mobile, and social media’.digi2-mar19

The Digital Media Awards are among the most coveted ones in India’s digital media space, Judged by an independent jury, appreciate excellent work by individuals and organizations in digital media sector, they cover a wide range of categories like web advertising, corporate websites, microsites and debutante websites apart from virals, blogs and mobile VAS.

Among the 23 awards across six prime categories as well as 19 sub-categories Zapak Digital Entertainment shone by winning 3 awards in two separate categories (the only contender to do so). BIGFlix Movie Rentals, one of India’s biggest offline and online movie rentals service won the Gold for Best Mobile Application in the category of Mobile/Viral at the IDMA. The Times Internet creative team’s campaign for the launch of Airtel Digital TV on Indiatimes and Economic Times has won the ‘Best Use of Online Banner Advertising in Rich Media’ honor at (IDMA).

IDMA 2010 attracted over 400 entries. The independent jury for the year 2010 comprised various industry stalwarts including Max Hegerman of Tribal DDB India, Ms Lynn de Souza of Lintas Media Group, Mahesh Murthy of Pinstorm, Rajesh Sawhney of Reliance Entertainment and Alex Kuruvilla of Conde Nast India, among others. Mahendra Swarup of Smile Interactive Technologies headed the jury panel.
