Tell us about LifeMojo.
The Core Idea :
LifeMojo is a platform that helps you to Eat Right, Stay Fit, Monitor your progress and Stay Motivated. The core problem that we solve is mismatch in your lifestyle and your fitness aspirations. All of us want to be fit, but do not know what to change in our lifestyles that would lead us there in a sustainable manner. LifeMojo is the goto place for this support. We do not provide just the content around healthy lifestyle, we also have planning and tracking tools that would keep you on track and motivated.
Process :
On LifeMojo you can start by analyzing your body and lifestyle. You can learn more about your body, daily calorie intake, etc. We have tools that enable you to plan your diet and exercise schedule depending on your analysis, and track them to see the amount of calories you consume and burn. This continuous monitoring of your lifestyle would help you achieve your fitness goals faster.
Funding :
We are self funded. We have a B2B product called LifeMojoPro that is being used by a few professional Nutritionists in India that gives us some revenue to support our B2C initiative.
What is the USP of LifeMojo?
LifeMojo is a complete wellness concept, right from your body and lifestyle analysis to daily monitoring of your food intake and activities. LifeMojo is the first initiative in India that provides complete and continuous wellness.
Why does LifeMojo solely concentrate on weight management?
LifeMojo does not solely concentrate on weight management. This is just the first step towards being a complete wellness concept. The root cause of most of the lifestyle diseases like diabetes type II, osteoporosis etc is obesity. So for us the logical first step was to target the root cause. We are developing expertise around fitness, and soon you would start seeing a strong push from us on fitness on LifeMojo.
How has the response been?
The response has been phenomenal. As of today (19th November) It has been 5 days since we launched LifeMojo and we already have above 100 registered users planning and tracking their daily routine. We are touching 500 unique visitors per day.
From the response that we have seen till now and from close to 300 responses to a few surveys that we did, people have shown keen interest in continues wellness. So the need is already there, we are working on the feedback from our initial users to improve our offering.
How does your team plan on promoting this platform?
We are talking to gyms, nutritionists and communities to explore ways to work together on the LifeMojo platform. Also, we see the concept picking up virally. From our personal experiences, we know that looking fit and losing weight are inherently viral concepts.
Do you’ll plan on setting up branches in other cities?
As of now, we are observing the online initial adopters and working on their feedback. We feel for physical presence, partnering with nutritionists, gyms and other health and wellness focused initiatives around India would be better. But if the need arises, we would establish a physical presence.
User interaction is the key to a successful online venture. How do you’ll plan on increasing/creating the same?
Absolutely! Currently, we provide a real time analysis of a user’s calorie intake and calories burnt, which we observed, is engaging for fitness conscious and weight conscious users.
We are adding community features around fitness and weight loss. So, you would be able to share your data with your friends and interact with them to stay motivated.
Name a few eminent people on your advisory panel. If not, do you’ll plan on collaborating with industry professionals?
We have Sameer Guglani and Nandini Hirianniah from Morpheus Venture Partners as part of our advisory panel. We are working towards getting a few key people in the industry to join our advisory panel.
Has LifeMojo made any strategic tie-ups? If not, do you’ll plan to?
We have Dr. Shikha Sharma, a renowned Health Expert in Delhi as a customer for LifeMojoPro. She has been a great help for us to understand the needs and bridge the gaps in the wellness industry. In near future, you would see LifeMojo partnering with a few key players in this industry.
